Philip Morris USA’s offices, facilities and employees are concentrated primarily in Richmond, Va., and Cabarrus County, N.C. PM USA also has sales offices located throughout the United States and in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

PM USA’s headquarters is located at 6601 West Broad Street, Richmond, Va. 23230.

PM USA completed the relocation of our headquarters from New York to Henrico County, Va., in the west end of Richmond, in 2004. The headquarters building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Designed by renowned New York architect Gordon Bunshaft, and with landscape design by Charles Gillette, it became the worldwide headquarters of Reynolds Metals Company in 1958. Bunshaft’s design demonstrated how aluminum could be used in modern construction. The building received the Test of Time Award from the American Institute of Architects in 1998.

Today, the 250,000-square-foot facility includes a company store, fitness center, cafeteria, conference center, coffee bar and full-service restaurant.

In addition to the corporate headquarters, PM USA offices in the Richmond area include:

Finance Center and Research, Development & Engineering building - This facility is on the campus of our Manufacturing Center in south Richmond.
Operations Center - Located in south Richmond, its departments provide operational and technical support for the company.
Training & Development Center - Located across from the Manufacturing Center in south Richmond, the facility offers machine and employee development training.
West Mark One - Henrico County, Va., in the west end of Richmond. Information Services and the Consumer Response Center are among departments located at West Mark One.

Richmond Manufacturing Center - Located in south Richmond, the Manufacturing Center began operations in 1973. Located on a 200-acre site, it has six connected buildings that cover a total of 43 acres, equating to 1.6 million square feet under one roof.
Park 500 - Located in Chester, Va., adjacent to the historic neighborhood of Bermuda Hundred, the facility processes small pieces of tobacco from other PM USA locations and turns them into large tobacco sheets.
Blended Leaf (BL) Plant and Leaf Processing Facility (LPF) - The BL Plant and adjacent LPF are located in south Richmond. The BL Plant processes small pieces of tobacco into sheets and the LPF prepares and blends tobaccos.
York Manufacturing Facility - Located near Williamsburg, Va., the York Manufacturing Facility supports the company's growth strategy and development of new products.
PM USA also owns or leases a number of warehouse and operations support facilities in the Richmond area.

The Cabarrus Manufacturing Center is located in Concord, N.C., on 2,100 acres, with 2.4 million square feet under one roof. It began operations in 1983.

In 2007, Altria Group announced its plans to cease production at PM USA's Cabarrus Manufacturing Facility by the end of 2010 and consolidate cigarette manufacturing for the U.S. market at PM USA's Richmond Manufacturing Center.

PM USA has five regional sales offices, 22 sectional sales offices and a field sales force of approximately 2,700 employees located throughout the U.S. and in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

PM USA owns and operates an 18,000-acre ranch located outside Clyde Park, Mont.
