Craig Schwartz serves as Senior Vice President, Smokeable Manufacturing, for Philip Morris USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altria Group.

He leads efforts to responsibly manufacture PM USA’s and John Middleton’s brands for adult smokers. Most recently at John Middleton, Craig served as President and Chief Executive Officer and earlier as Vice President and General Manager.

Prior to his roles at John Middleton, Craig served as Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for PM USA, and later for Altria Client Services.

Craig joined Philip Morris International in March 1982 as a Financial Analyst for the Latin American Region. During his career at PMI, and later at the Altria Group family of companies, he has held a variety of leadership roles related to Finance and Planning.

He also held key leadership roles in PM USA’s Manufacturing organization serving as Plant Manager at the company’s Cabarrus Manufacturing Center in North Carolina and later as Vice President and General Manager of its Richmond Manufacturing Center.

Active in the community, Craig serves on the boards of John Tyler Community College in Richmond, Va., and Wharton’s Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership (IGEL).

Craig, who is married with four children ranging from nine to 21, attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., for his undergraduate studies, and Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., for graduate school.
